Fabulous Finds

I have a four projects in the works right now!  All of them are on hold for one or more reasons.   I’m trying to be patient but it is sooooo hard.

In the mean time, I thought I share with you some of my fab fines.

$3.00 for this huge massive roll of brown craft paper.

What would you do with it?

I’m thinking this is going to be great for gift wrapping.  How versatile this one paper will be!!!!

  • Wedding Wrap ~ Just add a wide white satin ribbon and bow
  • Child’s Birthday Wrap ~ Colorful rubber stamp motifs
  • Christmas Wrap ~ Fresh greenery, pine cones, and twine
  • Graduation Wrap ~ Cool school stickers
  • Valentine’s Day Wrap ~ White paper dollies and red velvet ribbon

I’ll also use it on messy glue/spray paint projects and to create patterns!!!

Now I need one of these stands

{Fabric Store}

The fabric store had upholstered fabrics for 50% off!  I got over a yard of each all for $12.

I have a few ideas in mind.

  2. I LOVE the fabric! Okay so I have a question....I was given some money for a sewing machine for my B-day and I was looking at the Brother se350 (that's about the price range I am looking at). It does sewing and embroidery. I was curious on what machine you have and what you suggest for a beginner like me?????

  5. Love the fabrics, but I'm more jealous of the score on the brown craft paper! I go through SO MUCH of that stuff! One year I wrapped all our Christmas presents in it and tied them up with gorgeous ribbon. So pretty! And I always cover the top of my dining table with it when I'm having a kids' party. They can color on it (to keep them entertained while I'm cutting cake or whatever) and when the party is over you just ball it up and toss it. Makes clean up a snap. Oh! And for Christmas, you can lay it out on the floor, have your kids lay on it, trace around them and cut it out for cute little 'gingerkids'! My kids LOVE that :) I let them decorate their 'gingerkids' after I hang them up.
